Optimization of the laser weld of overlap seam for zink layered sheet metal

This diploma thesis deals with the experiment of welding galvanized sheets using fiber laser. The experiment is based on testing of welds lap joints with different gap between the welded parts. Theoretical part of this diploma thesis describes the principles and different types of lasers, laser welding technology, welding defects, galvanizing and inspection of welded joints. In the experimental part of the thesis welding tests and analysis of the results of the experiment have been realised and evaluated.
Modernization of experimental equipments

The goal of this diploma thesis is the proposal and realization of modernizing experimental equipments for company named Strojírenský zkušební ústav, s.p. The company equipments deals with testing of fireplaces and stoves for solid fuels for heating. This company equipments is certified and therefore it has to realize demands for accurate measurement, reliability and subsequent manipulation of measured data. The modernizing is embodied in automation of the whole process of testing, measured data, evaluation and print of final report which is the measurement record.
Welding of reinforcing steel bars

Radek Bogar: Welding of reinforcing steel bars Bachelor's degree Bachelor thesis, 2010/2011, FSI VUT Brno, Institute of Engineering Technology, Department of welding and surface treatment, a course in B-STI Mechanical Engineering degree program B3S-P Engineering, May 2011 str. 49, obr. 42, tab. 12, annex 2. This thesis, developed in an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering, is focused on the manufacture and welding of reinforcing steel bars, especially for individual types of structural welds, welding methods to be used, production testing and evaluation. The work consists of literary studies of the theoretical foundations of the production of concrete and welding steel bars, their design and use for purposes of concrete structures. Part of this work is the suggestion of additional material and WPS.
Weldig of the different type of steel by the Yb-YAG laser

The master's thesis presents an experiment of welding of high strength steel Docol 1200 M and of steel DC01 by the fiber Yb-YAG laser. The experiment is based on testing welds which were made during the experiments. The lasers, laser technologies of welding, steels of higher strength, tailored blanks technology and testing of welds are described in the theoretical part. The practical part contains description and evaluation of tests of welds – transverse tension test, Vickers hardness test, Erichsen cupping test and macrostructure and microstructure test. The final evaluation results of the experiment are presented in the conclusion of the master's thesis.
Climate testing room for personal vehicles

The diploma thesis deals with the design of testing equipment, a climate chamber in particular, to simulate external weather conditions. The chamber walls are made of socalled sandwich insulation panels. Based on the wall thermal properties, heat loss of the chamber was calculated. The conditioned air is supplied by a distribution channel at sides of the chamber. The exhaust air leaves the chamber in the ceiling zone. The ventilation unit is located on the ceiling. The design includes the integration of the UV lamp, simulating sunlight. The chamber will allow the weather effects on the microclimate inside a car to be studied. Furthermore, the sunlight simulations can be carried out in the chamber to detect polymers or varnish aging, and the fading of colours.
Measurements of the stress in the turbine spiral casing using the strain gauges

The Master‘s thesis is focused on measuring of the stress in the spiral case of water turbine using the strain gauges measurement. It contains the theoretical and the practical part. The theoretical part includes a description of theoretical background (basic mechanics, measurement and evaluation, strain gauges, pressure measurement, uncertainty of measurement). One of the chapters describes Water Power Plant Lipno nad Vltavou (history of power plant, issues and the history of measurement). The practical part contains a theoretical calculation of measurement uncertainty and measuring of stress on spiral case Francis turbine at Water Power Plant Lipno I (Unit TG2). Measurement was made before and after overhaul. There are described technical data of spiral cases, description of measurement, results of measuring of strain and stress including comparison with the pressure in spiral case and calculation of uncertainties of measurement.
Methodology of identification of revisions and inspections of technical equipment for a manufacturing company based on the requirements of ISO 45001

This work deals with the issue of inspections and revisions of technical equipment according to safe operation standards on the basis of OSH and FP requirements. In the introduction, these fields of work safety and fire protection are described, which will be used in later parts of the work. Subsequently, the term „technical equipment“ and subcategories of this issue are defined, with each of the subcategories being specifically approached. As a result, the thesis describes why it is necessary to regularly inspect the technical equipment, while the individual types of inspections are subsequently defined. This is accompanied by the distribution of the person’s rights to carry out individual inspections and the distribution of responsibility for the inspections carried out. The acquired knowledge is then used to create a model of the process of regulation of inspections and revisions and to create an overview of periodic inspections and revisions of technical equipment for a manufacturing company. This model and review of inspections are then considered the output of this bachelor’s thesis.
Solution technology of part "solid belt pulley of hoist-elevator".

This diploma work deals with a production technology of a tractive bearer rope wheel as a part of a hoist-elevator. A design and technological analysis of the components is studied, including a functional analysis of the grooves, a selection of the material of semi-manufactured blank, a selection of the cutting materials and production machines also. New CNC programs for production of the part have been worked-out. The work includes some suggestions for testing of the part function.
Tests metal sheet in the engineering practice

The thesis presents the theoretical summary of tests metal sheets, which are used in industrial practice. Based on the literature study of cold metal forming was performed Erichsen test which tested body sheets DC06 + ZE, CR340LA + GI / GA50-U, CR300LA + GI / GA50-U. From the test result showed that all sheets are suitable for forming, as indicated by the supplier. It was designed product for testing thin sheets.
Investigation of the durability of low voltage switching apparatuses construction parts

This thesis deals with study of durability of low voltage switching devices components. It describes components of circuit breaker and low voltage contactor and contains function models of these devices in various states. Based on model analysis, components that can get worn, damaged or destroyed were selected. Further practical experiments on two samples of circuit breakers from different manufacturers were executed to verify their technical parameters and parts durability. Failure of some components can cause switching device to malfunction.
